God wants us to bring our concerns and worries to Him. He promises to answers all our petitions, but not to give us all we ask. Sometimes his answers are difficult to take, and it is only later we can see that perhaps they were right. Sometimes we can never see this. Like a good father, though He cannot give His children all they want, for He sees the bigger picture. But He does promise us that we are his children; that we are loved; and that when we acknowledge our faults we are welcomed into his presence.
Heavenly Father,
we come to you as individuals,
as a nation,
and as a world,
asking for help.
We pray for the sick;
for doctors and nurses;
for those with no income;
and especially we pray for our loved ones.
Amen.
