Thoughts for the Day

Give ear to my prayer, O God;
do not hide yourself from my supplication....

But I call upon God,
and the Lord will save me....

Thoughts

Today is the Anniversary of these Thoughts for the Day. For a year we have been praying for others; we have learnt more about God's faithfulness; and we have cast our burdens on the Lord. What started as a link to only a few people has grown to hundreds across the world in many countries, with others sending the Thoughts via email to their friends and family.

Today, I invite you to join me, to:

• Thank God for His love for us during this pandemic (which may be difficult for some people!)
• Thank God for all that we have learnt about those things are really important in life.
• Thank God for our faith, even though it may have been tested.
• Thank God for what we have learnt from this year of bible study.

I want to add one more, and that is to thank God that He has kept giving me ideas, and the ability to keep going. Now on to the second year!*

Heavenly Father,
we thank You for listening
to our prayers,
and for answering them
in the way that is best for us.
Keep us strong in our faith
and close to other Christians
that we may continue
to worship You.
