More about Love, in the Bible
Love means different things to different people, and although the theme of love underlies the whole Bible, it's the same in our scriptures - love has a number of meanings. We have to remember that the books in the Bible were written by different people at different times and in different languages. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, but once our Bible was translated into Greek there were four words for Love: Agape, Storge, Philo and Eros. Unlike our single word for Love, these have different meanings.
