Find out about unleavened bread and the flight from Egypt
Today's reading from 1 Corinthians reminds us that the Hebrew people were kept as slaves by the Egyptians many years before. When they were finally freed, Moses instructed them how they were to leave. Look up Exodus, Chapter 12, and note they are not given time to let their bread rise, but must take unleavened bread.
